These days we often see and hear advertisements for dental implants. In the most basic terms there are three components to a implant, the titanium implant, the abutment, and the crown. I am often struck by some practitioners advertising a implant for a low figure, only to progress further down the ad and read the fine print that states crowns and abutments are extra.
